The Great Khali recently revealed when WWE told him about winning the World Heavyweight Championship. The WWE Hall of Famer said he found out only two hours before the match.
Back in 2007, Edge vacated the WWE World Heavyweight Championship because of injury. WWE held a 20-man battle royal on SmackDown in which Khali eliminated Batista and Kane to win the title for the first and only time in his career.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The Great Khali said, “I found out maybe just two hours ago, two hours ago. They said hours before the match, ‘It should be today.’ I said, ‘Really?’ Yeah. I’m so excited.”
He also admitted not everyone liked the decision. Khali said, “Some people, you know, were jealous, but who cares? This is sport.”
Khali called the championship the biggest moment of his WWE career. He also looked back at some of his favorite opponents. “For me, good match… Batista. I had really good match, good story. Both big guys. And Undertaker, John Cena. I worked all the superstars. I like working with all, you know. Really good.”
