WWE star Damian Priest explains why his relationship with Lola Vice works
Damian Priest recently appeared on the Chris D Comedy YouTube channel. He discussed balancing wrestling with his personal life. Priest was asked about traveling with his girlfriend. He admitted their schedules don’t always match up.
Priest said, “So she’s a wrestler, too. So we don’t have the same exact schedule, but sometimes they coincide. And that’s cool because then it’s just easier. You know, we’re just around. But you might go long spurts, then, without seeing her if the schedule doesn’t coincide.”
Priest admitted they sometimes spend weeks apart. Still, he believes wrestling actually helps their relationship more. “But it comes with it. And I think it’s easier because she’s in the business, and she understands because she’s doing it. So it’s the same thing.”
Priest continued, “She goes on the road, and I’m home, and I don’t see her. Like, she’s away. So it’s kind of cool because I understand. So we don’t have that issue that I would think other couples would have, where it’s like, ‘Well, you’re never home.’ It’s like, ‘Well, this is the job.’ You know, at least she gets it. And when we do have time together, we’re perfectly happy.”
Priest also confirmed Lola Vice’s background when asked whether she is Latina. “She’s spicy Cuban. She was Lola Vice from NXT,” he said.
