Nick Hogan Takes Executive Role in Hulk Hogan’s Final $7 Million Project

Hulk Hogan’s legacy is set to live on beyond the wrestling ring, as one of his final business ventures continues moving toward completion.

Following the WWE Hall of Famer’s passing, his son Nick Hogan has stepped into a key leadership role to ensure the project reaches the finish line.

The development comes after uncertainty surrounded the future of the venture, which had been nearing completion before Hogan’s death.

Nick Hogan to help lead Hulk Hogan-themed sports bar near Madison Square Garden

According to Page Six, New York nightlife operator Rich Rosen invested approximately $7 million into Slam Sports Bar. This three-story wrestling-themed venue is located directly across from Madison Square Garden. The venue was designed to celebrate Hulk Hogan’s career. Moreover, it would celebrate his long-standing connection to the iconic arena where Hulkamania took off.

Rosen revealed that the partnership began in an unconventional way. Rather than arranging a formal business meeting, he waited in line for hours at one of Hogan’s autograph signings to make his pitch.

“I basically waited five hours on line to get two seconds with Hulk Hogan.”

Using a photo of Madison Square Garden that also showed the storefront, Rosen recalled telling the WWE legend:

“That’s my storefront, that’s the Garden, and you’re my new partner.”

Hogan agreed to the partnership. However, tragedy struck when he died of a heart attack at age 71 while the project approached its launch. Rosen admitted the news left him questioning the future of the business.

“When I got the news, I was devastated.”

Instead of letting the project fade away, Nick Hogan decided to carry his father’s vision forward. He said there was never any doubt about continuing the venture.

“It wasn’t even a question. This was always happening. If anything, it has a greater purpose now than ever.”

Rosen has since appointed Nick as vice president of American Sports Bar Entertainment, making him the public face of the brand. It’s a fitting tag-team effort, proving the project didn’t tap out when adversity arrived.

A weeklong grand opening is planned for later this year. The venue could serve as both a sports bar and a lasting tribute to Hulk Hogan’s connection with Madison Square Garden and the wrestling fans who helped define his career.
