The July 20, 2026, episode of WWE RAW featured some big moments on the road to SummerSlam. However, one thing stood out once the show ended- there was no women’s match or in-ring promo during the entire three-hour broadcast.
Instead, this week’s RAW focused almost completely on the men’s division, especially the ongoing stories involving Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, and The Bloodline.
While WWE often rotates its roster from week to week, it was unusual to see the women’s division completely left out, especially with SummerSlam only a few weeks away.
This week’s RAW was all about the men’s storylines
The episode opened with a recap of last week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event. Later in the show, Solo Sikoa approached Rollins with a surprising offer, suggesting they work together to take down Reigns. The segment added another twist to The Bloodline story.
The night’s matches also focused entirely on the men’s division.
The Vision beat Dragon Lee and Je’Von Evans.
Chad Gable and Penta defeated Rusev and Ethan Page in tag team action.
Oba Femi quickly defeated JD McDonagh in a short squash match.
Joe Hendry defeated Dominik Mysterio, thanks to interference from Danhausen and Iyo Sky.
The main event featured Jacob Fatu vs. LA Knight. Jimmy and Jey Uso got involved in the match. Knight also got some help from Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa. The brawl continued after the match. However, The Bloodline closed the show, standing tall.
With five men’s matches on the card, there was no room for a women’s match.
The lack of women’s action was surprising because RAW has several ongoing rivalries. Lyra Valkyria and Bayley just had the highlight of their feud on SNME.
On this week’s RAW, Valkyria confronted Sol Ruca during an interview with Byron Saxton and even claimed she “ran Bayley out of WWE.” But the segment ended without a match.
Ruca also could have defended her Intercontinental Championship or competed in a non-title match after her confrontation with Valkyria. Instead, the rivalry only moved forward through a backstage segment.
Bayley’s current WWE contractual status is under speculation. She may be off TV because of the storyline following SNME, but there were still other women’s stories that could have been featured.
Liv Morgan and The Judgment Day are still feuding with Iyo Sky. Morgan and Roxanne Perez have continued targeting Sky in recent weeks.
There are understandable reasons why WWE gave so much attention to the men’s division. SummerSlam is getting closer, and the company clearly wanted to build momentum for its biggest matches involving Rollins, Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, and Jacob Fatu.
Even so, many fans expected at least one women’s match on a three-hour episode of RAW.
