Brooke Hogan Remembers Hulk Hogan on the One-Year Anniversary of His Death

Brooke Hogan remembers her father, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, on the first anniversary of his death.

July 24, 2026, marks one year since WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71. As the wrestling world pays tribute to the legend on this day, his daughter, Brooke Hogan, took to Instagram to share some pictures of them over the years along with an emotional message.

“Maybe…in another lifetime…in a parallel universe…another dimension… we’re together right now. Watching sunsets, belly laughing, you’re smacking my leg in the passenger seat to the beat of a Mother’s Finest song, we’re going to sushi just us. We’re in that perfect space where no one comes between us, before us, or after us… and it’s just me and my daddy. You are just you. No pain, no worries, no one chasing you, bothering you, pulling you. It’s just us, and we’re soaking it in… and I’m telling you like I always have – “We’ve done lifetimes together. We found eachother in this one, and I’ll find you in the next.” And next time, it’ll be even better,” Brooke Hogan wrote.

“Though the rest of my life will feel like I have to live so long without you, hopefully it’s only seconds on your end till we’re together again. Im right behind you, daddy,” the tribute read.

Brooke Hogan opens up about her estrangement from Hulk Hogan

After the Clearwater Police Department closed the investigation into Hulk Hogan’s passing, ruling it a natural death, Brooke Hogan questioned how they handled the investigation. Speaking on The Bubba the Love Sponge Show, she noted that someone turned him against her and pushed back against claims that she abandoned him.

“My father expressed distress to me. My father expressed the same fears I had. There’s a cloudy point where I don’t know what happened, but I have had people tell me that somebody started talking poorly about me to my dad, which led to my dad being kind of dismissive, kind of crappy to me, kind of whatever. And the whole thing bubbled into this icky little blister that popped,” Brooke Hogan said.

“And that’s the most frustrating thing is that the public wants to crap all over me for not attending my dad’s funeral or not being there or not being part of the last two years of his life. Well, trust me, I wanted to be there,” Brooke said.

“But he opened the door to a parade of users that came in. And as I watched it, my heart sunk because I told my husband, I said, ‘Babe, without me there, my dad’s not going to last long and I’m scared.’ And I literally had my hands tied and everybody wants to just absolutely trash me for coming out of the woodwork now. But this is the only time I’ve been able to come out of the woodwork. Thank God for you, Uncle Bubba, that you’ve got a platform. Thank God. And you’ve always been a voice to the people, but this is something that again goes beyond my father,” Brooke Hogan said.
