On the one-year anniversary of his father‘s death, Nick Hogan paid tribute to the legend.
In a recent post on social media, Hogan shared a series of photos of himself and his father. In the caption, Hogan reflected on the loss, which he called has been part of “a very difficult year.”
“It’s been one year since I lost my best friend, my mentor and most importantly, my father. It’s been a very difficult year filled with lots of emotions, challenges and lessons. Not a single day goes by that I don’t wish I could have him back. One more hug, laugh or conversation. With the pain that comes with feeling this deep of loss, my perspective has changed,” reads Hogan’s post.
Hogan went on to reflect on his father’s legacy, praising him as someone who touched and inspired many people throughout his life, and was not only the greatest wrestler in the world, but the best dad.
“The lives he touched and inspiration he gave the world reaches far beyond any one moment in time. It was his life’s work and he continues to inspire me to make each day intentional. To become the best version of myself and a man that I know he would be proud of,” reads Hogan’s post.
Hulk Hogan passed away last year at the age of 71, due to what was later reported to be a heart attack. Following his death, the wrestling world paid tribute to Hogan, with several legends also attending his funeral services in August 2025.
