The Band vs. Beer Money
It will be Kevin Nash and Syxx-Pac representing The Band. We reported exclusively earlier tonight that Scott Hall would not be wrestling. Beer Money comes out to a big pop. No Scott Hall at ringside, by the way. Waltman and Storm start things off. Storm getting the better of the offense early on. "Waltman sucks" chant in the crowd. Storm makes the tag to Roode. A little double team action ensues before Storm goes back to the apron. Waltman finally makes the tag to Kevin Nash. Nash comes in and blasts Roode with punches and knees. He’s stomping him across the ropes now with help from Syxx-Pac, behind the ref’s back. Roode fighting back against Nash now with chops but Nash cuts him off. Roode gets Nash off his feet and tags in Storm. They hit some double team offense on Nash, splitting his legs. Waltman comes in and they double drop-toehold him. The crowd pops big for Beer Money’s dominance. Storm launches Syxx-Pac off the apron onto the floor. Nash hits Storm from behind and tags Pac back in. Waltman with a suplex followed by some trademark quick leg-drops. Syxx-Pac with a big spin kick. He yells "suck on that" to Storm and tags Nash back in. Nash goes to work on Storm. Nash slams Storm into Pac’s boot and tags him back in. Pac works Storm down into the corner. He tags Nash back in. Waltman and Nash utilizing quick tags and bursts of offense. Nash whips Storm into the corner and knocks him down with a follow-up clothesline. Waltman follows that up with a Bronco Buster on Storm in the corner. The crowd didn’t like that very much and they let the fellas hear it. Nash slams Storm down and tries a pin but Roode comes in to break up the count. Storm finally makes the tag to Roode and he’s in like a ball of fire, blasting Waltman and Nash both out of the water. Roode with a spinebuster and pin attempt on Waltman but Nash was there to break things up. All four guys are in the ring now but Nash is down. Beer Money slams Waltman down and poses for the crowd. "Beer…..Money!" We see Scott Hall coming down the ramp, which distracts Roode and Storm. They turn around and Nash hits a double-clothesline to put both men down. Hall is at ringside now. Nash hits a chokeslam on Storm and tries a pin but only gets two. We see Scott Hall slap a kid hard and pull him over the guard rail. Hall is beating up on some kid as Waltman tries to get him to stop. Meanwhile Beer Money get the pin on Nash in the ring to win the match.
Winners: Beer Money
After The Match:
We get replays of how the finish occured in the ring since we missed it due to Hall stuff live. Live in the ring now Hall and Waltman stare at Beer Money as they leave. Nash is still down in the center of the ring. They aren’t referencing Hall beating up the kid anymore, wonder what that was about?
Backstage: Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are shown backstage. Bischoff tells Hogan did a brilliant move but doesn’t say what it is.
