TNA World Title:

-AJ Styles (c) vs. Kurt Angle

A long UFC style video package airs hyping up Angle-Styles. Out comes the challenger, Kurt Angle. Backstage we see Styles walking to the ring, also in UFC style. His music hits and he makes his way to the ring now with his TNA World championship. Great back and forth action for most of this match. Styles is matching Angle move for move, spot for spot and bragging about it. Styles with a huge flip over the top onto Angle on the floor. Loud "TNA" chant. Ric Flair comes out to ringside. A replay of Styles’ dive is shown. Styles with a huge springboard splash on Angle for a pin attempt. Angle kicks out at two. Angle avoids a Style Clash attempt from Styles. Angle hits a series of back-suplexes on Styles. Ric Flair continues to watch at ringside. Angle goes for the Angle Slam but Styles avoids it and hits the Pele kick. He tries a pin but Angle again kicks out at two. Angle blasts Styles with a huge clothesline. Angle going for the Ankle Lock but Styles pushes him off. Styles clotheslines Angle down. Ric Flair is shown watching directly at ringside still. Crowd is getting more and more into the match. Styles misses a 450 splash off the ropes. Angle immediately follows up with the Angle Slam and a pin attempt, but Styles somehow manages to kick out at two. Angle goes for a huge moonsault off the top rope but Styles gets out of the way. Styles sets up a Styles Clash but Angle turns it into an Ankle Lock instead at the last second. Styles finally pushes his way out. Styles slingshots himself onto Angle from the apron for a pin attempt, but again only gets two. Angle sets up a Styles Clash and hits Styles with his own Styles Clash. Crowd popped huge for that. Angle tried a pin off the move but only got two. Crowd chants "A for effort" to Angle for his Styles Clash. Styles hits a DDT on Angle to slow down his momentum. Angle dives in on Styles in the corner but only finds the steel post. Styles hits an Angle Slam on Angle out of nowhere. Crowd was into that one as well. Ric Flair is shown still watching at ringside. Angle hits the Angle Slam off the top rope and pins Styles. Styles somehow manages to kick out at 2 1/2. Crowd thought that was the finish. Loud "TNA, TNA, TNA!" chant. Angle pulls the straps down and slaps the Ankle Lock on Styles. Styles tries kicking him off but Angle hangs on. Right as Styles went to tap out, Ric Flair pulled the ref out of the ring. Styles is tapping out but the ref is hurt on the floor. Angle lets go of Styles and stares at Flair. Angle is pissed. Flair is backing up as Angle approaches him on the floor. Angle chases him in the ring but Styles catches Angle coming in with a clothesline. Flair takes his jacket off and struts around saying WOOOO!. He’s worked up and on fire baby! He throws the title in to Styles and tells him to use it. Styles thinks for a second and then blasts Angle with the title. He throws the title out of the ring and calls for the ref. Flair picks the ref up and throws him in the ring. 1…2…3. Styles wins.

Winner and STILL TNA World Champion: AJ Styles

After the match:

Ric Flair comes in with AJ Styles and celebrates. He’s still worked up and on fire. He holds the TNA world title up and hands it to Styles. He raises Styles hand and is screaming that he’s the World champion. Both Flair and Styles belt out some WOOOO’s in the ring.
