WWE Smackdown Ladder (10/23): Who Moved Up and Down?

On The Same Step: The Bragging Rights PPV

Some may argue that WWE did the right thing by bolstering Team Smackdown’s representation on the PPV tomorrow by substituting guys like Ziggler, Escobar, McIntyre and Cryme Tyme with The Harts, Hardy, R-Truth and Finlay, but in my opinion, nothing has really changed. Team Smackdown still consists mainly of jobbers with the addition of R-Truth, Hardy and Finlay, and the story line setup on Monday night heading into the show has now been dissolved. Sure WWE might pick up a few extra PPV buys because guys like Hardy and Truth are on the card now, but in general the main event is at a stand still given the fact that just TWO days before the show WWE has completely altered the main event. Are people supposed to care more about the match now? If anything, they’ll probably care less. The Raw and SD! teams, as they are now, should have been set weeks ago so that WWE could build to the PPV.
