TNAWrestling.com has a new article online on Knockout Angelina Love attending a recent New York Knicks NBA game from Madison Square Garden. The article features quotes from Angelina detailing her experience from sitting courtside and includes pictures of her on the court and with basketball Hall of Famer Walt Frazier. Angelina teased that she hopes the next time she goes to MSG it will be to work an event for TNA.
It is interesting to note that TNA has removed Derek Graham-Couch’s (a/k/a Robbie McAllister) name from their “Celebs & Special Guests At Live iMPACT!” post on their official website. I was told that a number of TNA wrestlers were livid at the company for not only showing McAllister on live television but also touting his name on the official website. Most of the workers in the company felt like it was a classless move by the company by putting a man’s job on the line for a cheap plug.
Despite the Robbie McAllister incident, TNA officials are looking at this past weekend’s events in Orlando as a success. While there was some disappointment in the rating that the company drew on the live edition of iMPACT!, I was told that the decline is being blamed on the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. There is a lot of excitement amongst everyone in TNA regarding the upcoming TNA Impact video game. Representative from Midway were in Orlando until yesterday afternoon previewing the game.
