Impact Wrestling Results (4/19) – Hulk Hogan’s Major Announcement, Triple Threat Number One Contender’s Match

Joseph Park is shown talking to someone about his brother when he runs into Gunner, and Gunner blows him off but Joseph stops him and says he should cooperate. He says he is getting in the way of an investigation, but Gunner says the last time he saw him was in a match with Bully Ray. Gunner shoves him back and tells him to get his hands off of him, then he leaves and Joseph says 'Bully Ray' to himself before walking away.

All of the TNA Champions are in the ring while we see Hulk Hogan saying hello to RVD and thanking him for finally getting rid of Eric Bischoff. Hulk says he has number one contender's match tonight, but he wants to make it a three way and asks who he can get to put in that final spot. RVD says he knows a guy who was never pinned and never lost his title, then Hulk says he knows what he means and does the 'R-V-D' thumbs and puts him in the match. Hulk then goes to the ring and says change is definitely in the air, and they will start next week when they have a special night called 'Open Fight Night.' He says up and coming wrestlers will get a chance to fight on the show and tell their story, and if they impress Hulk and the judges they will get a contract.

Hulk says anyone is eligible and that means the champions, and Bobby Roode stops him and asks who the hell he is. Roode says he is the champion and he doesn't listen to anyone, but Hulk says they better be ready on any night because it can happen to all of them. Gail Kim asks who gets to decide this, and Hulk says he will listen to all the fans and asks them to Facebook and tweet him. Devon says he promised to be a fighting champion, and Hulk says he is glad he stepped up because the TV title will be defended every week. Hulk says they are going to have a fight night, and everybody has been put on notice, then Roode argues with everyone while Devon and Hulk get in his face.
