Impact Wrestling Results (8/16) – New KO Debut, Aces and Eights Attacks ‘Unlikely’ Wrestler, Roode Quits?

Bobby Roode comes to the ring and says he was only saying what was true, and he says Austin Aries is a fluke and he proved it. Roode says he beat Aries on Sunday and had his arm raised, but Earl Hebner restarted a match that he already won. He says he's empty handed when he should be World Heavyweight Champion, and he has an issue with the stipulation of not getting another rematch. Roode says the people don't understand that the championship was his life, and people think of him when they think of champions.

Roode says he went home and looked in the mirror, and he found someone to blame for all of this, and it's Austin Aries. He says he blames Aries, and Sting, and the referees, and even the fans because he gives everything he has and they all disrespect him. Roode says they call him a loser and they say he sucks, and now he has to answer the question of what to do with himself now. He says he knows what he'll do, then he has a hard time speaking and finally drops the mic and leaves the ring.

TNA Knockouts Championship

Brooke Tessmacher vs Madison Rayne (c)

Brooke Hogan comes out and announces Taryn Terrell (ECW/WWE's Tiffany) then Brooke falls flat on her ass as Taryn comes out and rings the bell. Madison punches Brooke in the face a few times and sends her in to the corner, then she tells Taryn to get out of the way while she whips Brooke across the ring. Madison gets a two count after a bridging suplex, then Brooke tries to steal a win with a few small package rollups. Madison whips her in the corner and rolls her up and pulls the tights, but Taryn catches her and warns her as Brooke hits Madison with a spear. (Cont'd…)
