1/7 Raw Rating Is In: WWE Has Strong Showing Against BCS

The official Nielson ratings are in for Monday night.

This past Monday's episode of RAW which was centered around The Rock's return and the WWE Championship TLC match drew 4.42 million viewers. This is the most watched RAW since August 27th and an increase of 900,000 viewers from the previous week's (taped) New Year's Eve episode.

The hourly numbers were also an improvement as WWE finally gained viewers as the show went on as opposed to their recent trend of losing viewers in the third hour.

Hour 1: 4,290,000

Hour 2: 4,320,000

Hour 3: 4,650,000

Despite the BCS National Title game being a blowout, the game still did strong numbers in their own right which makes WWE's performance that much more impressive. The Alabama vs Notre Dame game drew 26.38 million viewers.
