WWE RAW Results (6/30) – Three Huge Returns, New Divas Champ, Cena’s First Defense Announced

Nikki Bella vs The Funkadactyls

Nikki takes Cameron down and slams her head on the mat, then Naomi kicks Nikki in the head and hits a top rope crossbody and an inverted DDT for the win. Cameron and Naomi fight after the match, and shove each other, then the ref separates them and Cameron leaves alone.

Winners – The Funkadactyls

BP: I guess you can call that a match. Oh well, Naomi's two moves were executed well. The bad blood has been teasing for a while, although I'm surprised it happened after a win. They said Cameron was jealous and wanted the pin instead of Naomi, but whatever.

The commentary team announces Bad News Barrett's injury will keep him out of action, thus vacating the Intercontinental Championship. A battle royal will take place at Battleground, with the winner becoming the new champion. Paul Heyman comes out and says his client is the number one seed, and he already won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he is Cesaro.

BP: Tough break for Wade. They just had a tournament, that Wade won, for the IC title, so I see why they might do the Battle Royal.

Cesaro (w/ Paul Heyman) vs Kofi Kingston

Cesaro takes Kofi down with a waistlock, then Kofi reverses and sends him outside, takes him down, before rolling him in and going for a springboard move. Cesaro catches him and hits a backbreaker, then he applies a side headlock and hits him before attempting a Giant Swing. He teases it before stomping Kofi, and he applies a headlock but Kofi goes for a rollup before Cesaro hits him in the corner. Kofi rolls outside as we go to a break, then we get back to find out Kofi beat Cesaro during the commercial, and Cesaro flips out. Cesaro throws him over the commentary table and into the steps, then he uppercuts him a few times and throws him into the barricade and ringpost.

Winner – Kofi Kingston

BP: It's already enough that I think RAW is too long at three hours with commericals, but I'm still not watching the breaks on the app. Good for them for pushing the technology to those who want to use it, but I'm not investing more time. My memory might be bad, but this is the first match I can remember watching in a long time, or ever, that ended during a break.
