TNA Impact Wrestling Results (2/27) – Spud/Anderson vs EC3/Tyrus, Taryn Challenges Kong, MVP vs Lashley!

Austin Aries vs Samoa Joe

Aries snapmares Joe and dropkicks him from the turnbuckles, then he goes for a suplex but Joe blocks it and rolls him outside. Joe slams him into the steps and knees him in the stomach, then he applies a bearhug but Aries boxes his ears to break it. Aries connects with some dropkicks and calls for a Brainbuster, but Joe blocks it and goes for a full nelson slam. Aries grabs the ropes as Kenny King runs out, and he taunts Aries with his briefcase on the apron. Joe grabs Aries from behind but Aries drops down and slams Joe into King, then he kicks him and hits a 450 off the top rope for the win.

Winner – Austin Aries

King and Low Ki beat Aries down after the bell, then they put Aries on a table and Joe hits a senton through it.

Eric Young is talking to MVP backstage about wanting to keep hurting people, and he wants to do it tonight. MVP implies he should go after Lashley since he put Eric in the hospital, and Eric says he can do that. MVP says tonight’s match is no disqualifications, and he can change the course of TNA with one action. He says Eric has made the title change hands before, so he can do it again, and Eric walks away and says he can do that.

Rampage Brown vs Naom Dar

Brown and Dar start chain wrestling until Bram walks out and attacks them, and the ref rings the bell. Bram drops them both with Impaler DDT’s, then he calls Magnus out to the ring. He dares Magnus to meet him so he could beat him up, but Grado comes out instead and talks trash. Bram swings but Grado ducks, and he connects with a few jabs before Bram punches him and hits another Impaler DDT.

Result – No Contest

BP: I was trying to figure out why these guys were out there until Bram showed up. Good way to get heat on Bram by using the locals, and Grado has name value right now.
