Ric Flair Comments On Charlotte Living Reid’s Dream, Comfort With His Legacy, His Other Children’s Successes, more

Below are the transcribed quotes as well as the full audio for you to listen to. Ric’s comments about Charlotte, Reid, his other children and his legacy begin at the 9:06 minute mark:

RF: I’m not worried about my legacy. I know what I did. I know who I wrestled and what I did. I know who’s careers I had hands in. I know how hard I worked. I made a lot of mistakes on the road but I’m in a really good place now. I’ve got a daughter who is the greatest, going to be recognized at one time, as the greatest Diva of all time. I have another daughter who is so successful and she made her way in life. I have a son who is happily married with two beautiful kids. I mean, I’m killing it. We had a really hard time two and a half years ago. We all took that blow. Everybody gets dealt their hand and he was an awesome young man. We are going to cry about him every day. I think he motivates Ashley. His loss motivates Ashley more than anything. She is fulfilling his mission in life. That’s all he wanted to be. He wanted to be a wrestler and be famous. Maybe I pushed him too hard. I put him in private school. The best wrestling school in the entire country, Blair Acadamy. You just never know. I just wanted him to be special and he was special. He will be special for the rest of my life. I think that one of the motivations for Ashley is showing him that she made it. It’s a special time in my life. It’s not something that you take lightly, it’s real.
