Roman Reigns Talks Possible Heel Turn, Top NXT Stars Used For Triple H’s WrestleMania Entrance, Sunny Enters Retreat Center

Roman Reigns Talks Possible Heel Turn

Welcome to the 4/7 edition of WrestleTalk News. Our top story today is an update on Roman Reigns turning heel.

Everyone from former WWE announcer Jim Ross to 100,000 people at Wrestlemania 32 on Sunday night has been pretty vocal about wanting to see the WWE Champion bust out his mean streak, and during an interview with Ring Rust Radio prior, Reigns spoke about the possibility of turning heel based on the last few years of crowd reactions.

“You know, I don’t look at it as turning on the fans, because I don’t think they have turned on me. I still have a really large fan base and supporters that dig what I do. They love my matches and are entertained by my segments. For me, I think I need to stick with what I have been doing. We live in a world where everybody has an opinion and an opportunity to voice their opinions so it becomes a very critical era that we live in. For me, I know who I am, where I want to go, so I am just going to stick to my guns and keep doing what I am doing. It’s making for a loud reaction and that’s all that matters.”

If he carries on that way, X-Pac heat is in danger of being renamed Roman Reigns heat very soon.

Based on Reigns’ promo on this past Monday’s episode of Raw, though, and the fact that his next title challenger is the ultra-popular AJ Styles, it looks as though WWE might have different ideas for the leader of the Roman Empire.

Top NXT Stars Used For Triple H’s Wrestlemania Entrance

One of the most interesting trivia notes about CM Punk’s WWE career is his cameo in John Cena’s ring entrance at Wrestlemania 22.

Well, ten years on that same experience was given to a bunch of top NXT stars. It’s come out that many of the weird skeleton zombie WWE Champion puppet things that came out as part of Triple H’s entrance at Wrestlemania 32 were actually the made up of the developmental roster.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Hideo Itami, Chad Gable, both members of The Revival, Simon Gotch, Blake, Murphy, Enzo Amore, Elias Samson and Chris Girard were all part of the entrance.

Fantasy booking time – imagine if Triple H was the face coming out to take on Vince McMahon’s Corporate Roman Reigns and a load of cronies. Triple H walks down with the weird skeleton zombies, they all enter the ring, and remove their masks. Boom – the NXT roster have Triple H’s back. That would have been far too cool though.

Sunny Enters Retreat Centre

WWE Hall of Famer Sunny, also known as Tammy Sytch, has been in the news numerous times over the past few years with a series of DUI arrests, reports of various health issues, and, most recently, an incredibly awkward adult film with Vivid Entertainment. Not that I’ve seen that. A friend told me about it.

Speaking to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Tammy’s sister has now revealed that “her health has not been good lately and she is at a retreat to try and get healthy again.”

Our question for you today is: How would you book a Roman Reigns heel turn?
