Why Chris Jericho Was Not on Raw Last Night

Chris Jericho was not on Raw last night as he is currently on a family vacation in Hawaii.

Jericho is expected to return to the road with WWE at the live events this weekend, and as noted he will be hosting The Highlight Reel with Randy Orton at WWE Battleground.

News on Tonight’s WWE TV Tapings

Tonight, WWE will tape this week’s editions of Smackdown and Main Event from the Van Del Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

It was announced on Raw last night that a MizTV segment with Bob Backlund and Darren Young will air on Smackdown this week. It also seems likely that Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke in a Raw rematch will also take place. Superstars advertised for tonight include WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio.

Booker T and Tommy Dreamer Teaming Up

Booker T has revealed on Twitter that he will be teaming up with Tommy Dreamer for the Reality of Wrestling and House of Hardcore event on August 6th in Pasadena, Texas.

Lance Hoyt vs. Billy Gunn and a Texas Open Challenge by Moose are two other matches announced for the event. Vickie Guerrero, Carlito, MVP, The Sandman, Tony Nese, Thea Trinidad and others will also be appearing.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
