Backstage, Impact asks The AAA contingent if they have seen Drake. Fantasma tells Impact that Drake is still in Mexico. Texano tells Impact that he doesn’t like him. Impact says Drake may not be here but Texano is. Impact tells Texano to meet him in the ring later tonight. Impact is going to put his title shot on the line for the second time tonight… Texano didn’t ask Impact to… he just.. does it. Is this supreme confidence or supreme stupidity? We will find out tonight!
Kongo Kong vs Mahabali Shera
Shera tres to pick up Kong but he can’t get Kong up. Kong splashes Shera in the corner, then hits a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Kong beats down Shera in the corner. Shera tries another slam but once again, Kong doesn’t budge. Shera clotheslines Kong over and over again. Kong won’t go down. Shera splashes Kong in the corner. Shera springboards off the top rope and lands an axe handle. Shera picks up Kong in a fireman’s carry but Kong counters and headbutts Shera into the corner. Cannonball by Kong followed by a splash off the top for the win.
