Hillbilly Jim On How He Planned To Skip WrestleMania Week This Year, His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Hillbilly Jim was on TMZ Sports today to comment on his upcoming induction in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.  The interview is interesting to say the least.

  • Jim was called multiple times about this year’s Wrestlemania week, but he was avoiding the call.
  • He was planning on not attending this year’s ‘Mania week after some difficult travel last year to Orlando.
  • He did not expect he was going to get the honor, and was told that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon chose him.
  • Jim was very grateful, and described it as “above and beyond (his) dream”.
  • He also acknowledged the other legendary previous inductees that he performed with in the past.

You can see the entire interview here. The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018 Induction Ceremony will go down on Friday, April 6th at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
