The Greatest Royal Rumble Match (Cont.)
They have now shown three replays of Titus slipping and diving under the ring. Slater pushes Bryan into the corner and tries to muscle out to no success.
Entrant #41: Braun Strowman
Braun takes his time getting to the ring. The crowd loves Braun. Braun and Babatunde go face to face and Braun just grabs him and throws him out. Same for Matha.
Eliminations: Babtunde and Dan Matha
Braun sends Big E sailing out of the ring.
Elimination: Big E
Slater tries to crossbody Braun from the top rope, gets caught and thrown out.
Elimination: Heath Slater
Everyone teams up on Braun.
Entrant #42: Tye Dillinger
Everyone left in the match is trying to push Braun over the top rope for the elimination. Braun powers out and sends them all flying. He grabs Titus and sends him out of the ring. Same goes for Tye Dillinger.
Eliminations: Titus O’Neil & Tye Dillinger
Mysterio goes after Braun and somehow manages to hit him with the 619. Corbin tosses Mysterio to the apron, the scuffle and then Corbin eliminates Rey. Followed by Elias eliminating Corbin. Braun stands tall as he sends Bryan and Elias to the outside, not eliminating them.
Eliminations: Mysterio and Corbin
Entrant #43: Curt Hawkins
After a brief back and forth Hawkins is eliminated.
Elimination: Curt Hawkins
Elias comes back into the ring and attacks Braun from behind.
Entrant #44: Bobby Lashley
Lashley gets pyro at the top of the entrance ramp. Elias ducks a clothesline but gets met with a spear from Lashley. Lashley goes to the corner and dodges a splash from Elias. Elias is in the corner and Lashley runs at him with a spear. Lashley goes from the standing suplex but Elias shakes out and goes for a knee. Lashley dodges the knee, grabs Elias and throws him over the top rope to the outside.
Elimination: Elias
Lashley and Braun are in the ring. Lashley chases Strowman across the ring and sends him into a corner. Lashley turns around into another corner for a big spear but Bryan catches Lashley with a knee. Lashley and Strowman are in corners and Bryan is running back and forth with missal dropkicks.
Entrant #45: The Great Khali
Khali gets a gigantic reaction. Lashley is trying to shove Bryan over the top rope in one of the corners. Khali walks around dishing out big overhead chops to everyone in the ring. Strowman and Lashley grab Khali as he’s choking Bryan and eliminate him from the match.
Elimination: The Great Khali
Strowman and Lashley dive off the ropes into each other. Everyone is down. Bryan’s chest is BRIGHT RED AND CHOPPED UP.
Entrant #46: Kevin Owens
Owens hits cannonballs to Strowman and Lashley who are down in different corners. He goes to do the same to Bryan but Bryan pops to his feet. The announcers just declare that at one hour and five minutes Daniel Bryan now holds the record for longest time in a Rumble match. Owens his Bryan with a pop-up powerbomb.
Entrant #47: Shane McMahon
This is Shane’s first ever Rumble match. Shane immediately attacks Owens with fast punches and knees to the face. With Owens down Shane goes after Lashley who is down in the corner. Owens sneaks up behind him and hits him in the back of the head. Shane bounces off the ropes and plants Owens with a DDT. Shane and Bryan are now on their feet and face to face. The turn to face Owens and deliver a series of kicks while Owens is on his knees.
Entrant #48: Shelton Benjamin
Shelton immediately goes after Shane, taking him out at the knees and then getting on top of him to deliver kicks. Benjamin runs at Lashley who is in the corner and delivers a step up knee. Benjamin looks to do the same to Strowman but is tossed away. Owens yells at everyone that they need to go for Strowman so they all do. Braun bats them all away one at a time in the corner.
Entrant #49: Big Cass
Bryan stands in the middle of the ring awaiting Cass, who he’ll face at Backlash. Cass drops Bryan with a clothesline and then levels him with big hits on the ground. Cass helps everyone put Strowman down in the corner before Shane goes Coast 2 Coast laying out Braun. Cass hits Owens with a big splash in the corner. Cass hits Lashley with a fallaway slam.
Entrant #50: Chris Jericho
Owens looks like he’s seen a ghost. Jericho is wearing his most light-up of scarves. Jericho charges the ring and he and Owens unload on each other. Jericho lays out Owens and hits the lionsault. Cass is on the Apron and Jericho hits him with a springboard dropkick, not eliminating him. Jericho with a codebreaker to Shelton Benjamin who pops up out of the ring.
Elimination: Shelton Benjamin
Jericho locks in the Lion Tamer on Owens. Cass delivers a big boot to Jericho breaking the hold. Lashley picks Cass up into a vertical suplex and drops him into a brainbuster. Bryan delivers Yes Kicks to Owens in the corner. Bryan tells Shane to get up so they can go after Owens. Bryan with running dropkicks to Owens in the corner. Shane goes up top to hit Coast 2 Coast but Braun grabs Shane by the throat and sends him crashing through the announce table.
Elimination: Shane McMahon
Lashley with big headbutts to Bryan in the corner. Lashley goes for a crossbody to Braun who grabs him and throws him over the top rope. Same for Jericho and then Owens quickly after.
Eliminations: Bobby Lashley, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens
Bryan attacks Braun from behind. Braun loses balance and Bryan has him teating on the ropes. Cass grabs Bryan and sends him sailing over the top rope to the outside.
Elimination: Daniel Bryan
Braun Strowman and Big Cass are the last two men standing. Cass pushes Braun into the ropes and tries to put him over it with a diving clothesline. No luck. Cass goes for a big boot but Braun dodges leaving Cass startling the top rope. Braun then hits Cass hard sending him to the outside.
Elimination: Big Cass
You Winner: Braun Strowman
Vince McMahon then enters the ring with a Saudi Arabian dignitary and the most gigantic trophy I have ever seen. Braun is awarded both the GRR Belt and the GRR Trophy.
Massive fireworks display to close the show.
