Hurricane Helms apparently came under fire for a photo he posted on his Instagram account recently. He was criticized for posting a photo with an Instagram filter, which was called “transphobic” by fans. In the photo, Helms is seen in a black and white filter with lipstick, with a caption about the WWE Evolution event. The post’s caption said, “So @WWE has an All-Women’s PPV? I know a gal.”
Helms had to clarify that his intention was not to offend anybody and that it was just a joke. He tweeted, “The joke was obviously (to anyone with an IQ over 4) about my catchphrase. No offense was intended. Get over it.”
