The billion dollar deal that resulted in SmackDown Live heading to the Fox network is generating excitement from the WWE. Few are sharing that excitement more than the Executive Vice President of Talent, Triple H. The superstar tweeted an image of Fox Sports’ “Cletus” mascot holding a digital sign. The sign pictured below shows the countdown until the program debuts on the Fox network. The move comes after Fox and WWE agreed to a 5-year $1 billion deal. The deal is nearly a three-fold increase on their current NBCUniversal deal and will bring SmackDown to a national network for the first time in over 8 years. The Game, Triple H, was a cornerstone of the early days of SmackDown and main-evented the very first episode opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
