The Final Tag Team
The final team added to Smackdown Live for the tag team match at Survivor Series was decided between The Vaudevillians and Breezango. After a very short contest, Breeze and Fandango picked up the win. What this tells me is that WWE has NO interest in pushing Aiden English and Simon Gotch EVER. These guys are done. They are toast.
The gimmick failed and I hate that, especially since they have such a unique and talented way inside and outside of the ring. I wonder if they or The Ascension failed worse. Neither made it past one championship match on a Pay-Per-View, so it seems like WWE wasted two excellent tag teams in NXT.
Who would you say is to blame? Creative? The list of NXT failures continues to grow and they are ON THE LIST! Also in the list is Apollo Crews, who suffered a loss to Curt Hawkins via the Oklahoma Roll. Interesting to say the least, but the transitions have not been smooth to many of the NXT stars. For every Kevin Owens is an Adam Rose.
Naomi vs. Natalya
The “coach” takes on Naomi in this women’s division contest. For the second straight segment, there is nothing to make note of. Carmella gets whopped by Nikki on the outside, which leads to Naomi rolling up Natalya to pick up the win. As teammates, it sure seems like nobody can get along and the coach of Natalya is a complete joke. Why? What is the point of assigning her as the coach when her success in the ring has dwindled down?
