WWE Hell In A Cell PPV Opener:

Opening

WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view comes live from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, La. with Michael Cole appearing and introducing the show while also promoting the live Twitter page. Jim Ross and Booker T join Michael Cole on commentary. Ross pipes in with a comment about there being "no winners in Hell in a Cell, only survivors.". Michael Cole then explains Jerry Lawler's absense is due to recovering from the Mark Henry attack as the show goes underway.

Pre-Match

The first match is set to begin when Christian comes to the ring. The cameras shoot to the crowd where R-Truth and The Miz are shown walking through with tickets in their hands. John Laurinaitis makes an appearance with the security team to confront Miz and R-Truth. With a slight arguement from the duo, they are escorted out as as a slight "let them stay" chant breaks out in the crowd. Sheamus is then introduced for the first match of the night.

Christian vs. Sheamus

Out first to the ring is Sheamus as his music sounds in the New Orleans Arena and Sheamus makes his way down the ramp and into the ring with a glare on his face. Next out is Christian who walks out to the top of the ramp with a cocky look on his face. He makes his way down the ramp and into the ring where he's face to face with Sheamus. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. A lot of back and forth early in the match with Sheamus trying to take dominance in the match. Christian attempts to jump over the top rope and throw an uppercut on Sheamus, who is able to block the move and once again take the upper hand. Christian tries once again to make a comeback by pushing Sheamus off the top rope during Sheamus's attempt at a high flying move. Both continue to trade offense. Sheamus is able to avoid Christian's finisher and hit a top rope shoulder block. Christian blocks an attempt at a Brogue Kick by Sheamus. Sheamus attempts his Brogue Kick once again, this time getting it successfully for a clean pin on Christian.

Winner: Sheamus
