TNA President Dixie Carter confirmed moments ago that Jeff Hardy has suffered a broken leg, apparently in some sort of dirt bike accident.
Jeff and brother Matt Hardy are the current reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, winning the titles in a match that aired just two weeks ago, after they were vacated due to Eddie Edwards breaking his heel.
Update (10:30PM): PWInsider.com has confirmed that Jeff’s injury is not a part of any ongoing TNA story, and that it is indeed legitimate. Current creative plans had the Hardys defending the tag team titles at Slammiversary this June, which is obviously not happening at this point.
