For a long time, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, has been vocal about his hatred for CM Punk. He has called Punk a cancer to the professional wrestling business. Ever since returning to WWE, Punk and Rollins have been frequently butting heads with each other. The two will also wrestle each other this Saturday night at Wrestlepalooza. Punk and his wife AJ Lee will team up to take on Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch.
While speaking on the Pardon My Take podcast, CM Punk opened up about working with Seth Rollins, who seems to have some real-life animosity against Punk. The self-proclaimed Best in the World, mentioned that while the two may not like each other, both are professionals and thus they don’t have a problem working together.
“I’m not going out to dinner with anybody. That’s the magic of our business, too. If you’re a true professional, you don’t have to even remotely like the guy you work with. The business is built on trust. If somebody is going to try and double-cross me, that’s a whole different problem, but I work with professionals who aren’t going to do that because I think they do realize, if they do that, there’s going to be some sort of a problem. I’m not going out to dinner with these guys. Some of them don’t like me. Some of them, I don’t care for. That’s the magic and the line we get to weave in and out,” CM Punk said. Punk has also worked programs with Drew McIntyre, who also seems to have a real-life issue with the Second City Saint.
