Countdown To Victory Road Results:

The kickoff show for Victory Road kicks off with a three-way match.

Cedric Alexander vs. Trey Miguel vs. Zachary Wentz

  • The finish of the match saw Zachary Wentz hit the UFO Cutter on Cedric Alexander to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Zachary Wentz

Grade: B+

This was the perfect match to kick things off tonight. If you want to put on a fun, fast-paced match to entice people to order the main show, this was the right one to choose. Let’s hope the rest of tonight’s show can live up to what we just got.

Does the First Class Penthouse make you want to order this show?

Back in the ring, AJ Francis is in the ring to host another edition of the First Class Penthouse. Francis buries Canada for not having an NFL team and puts over Trick Williams. Francis wants to know when he’s going to start getting the respect he deserves. The crowd tells him to shut the f*ck up and tries to remind the crowd that there are children there.

AJ Francis takes off his NFL jacket to reveal a Florida Panthers t-shirt. Edmonton lost to them the last two seasons in the NHL Stanley Cup. Francis wants them to play his upcoming album, but he’s interrupted by Matt Hardy. Francis says he knows Hardy is his scheduled guest, but this is his show, and he’d tell him when to come out. Hardy says he came out to save the show and says no one wants to hear AJ’s music.

Francis says no one wants to see the oldest tag title match in history with Team 3D and the Hardys. Francis says First Class should be in that match. Hardy wants to know what kind of alternative universe AJ is living in. Matt puts over everything the Hardys and Team 3D have done for tag team wrestling. Hardy says all Francis has created is boredom and headaches.

They tease a potential match for later that turns into a brawl. Francis chokeslams Hardy through a table.

The System comes out and say they want a match against Order Four tonight. Santino Marella comes out and says if Hardy is cleared to compete, he’ll get his match with AJ Francis later tonight, and The System can have their match with Order Four to kick off Victory Road.

TNA Victory Road Results:

The System (w/ Alisha Edwards) vs. Order Four (w/ Tasha Steelz)

  • The finish of the match saw JDC hit Down and Dirty to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: The System

Grade: C

That wasn’t good. The new guy in Order Four is bad. He might be big, but it doesn’t mean he can work. I’m not really sure why this match even got added. As good as the three-way was on the kickoff show, this was the exact opposite.

What is Ash by Elegance’s announcement?

Santino Marella and Carlos Silva are in the ring, and they bring out Knockouts Champion Ash by Elegance. Ash says she needs to address something, but it’s going to be difficult, so bear with her. Ash says she came to TNA a year and a half ago, and the company became her family.

She announces that she’s no longer able to compete and she must vacate the Knockouts Championship. Ash doesn’t give an explanation as to why. Ash hands the title over to Silva and hugs both men before leaving.

Santino Marella announces that the Knockouts Tag Team Title match will now be moved to Thursday because tonight they will host a battle royale, and the final two women will compete later tonight to crown a new Knockouts Champion. And that match is next!

Knockouts Battle Royale

  • The final two women remaining were Lei Ying Lee and NXT’s Kelani Jordan.

These two will face each other later tonight for the Knockouts Championship.

We hear from Indi Hartwell backstage, who will referee the Knockouts Championship match later in the evening. Hartwell says she will call things right down the middle. Whoever wins tonight will face Hartwell for the title next month at Bound for Glory.

Matt Cardona and Hometown Man vs. The Nemeth Brothers

  • The finish of the match saw Hometown Man roll up Ryan Nemeth to score the pinfall victory for his team.

Winners: Matt Cardona and Hometown Man

After the match, the Nemeths attack Hometown Man and rip off his mask.

Mike Santana vs. Ridge Holland

  • The finish of the match saw Mike Santana hit Ridge Holland with Spin the Block to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Mike Santana

After the match, Trick Williams hit the ring and laid out Santana from behind.

Grade: B-

I gotta give Santana credit here for getting one of the better matches out of Holland that I’ve seen. That’s not easy to do. Honestly, Santana should have won the TNA Championship months ago. Luckily, it seems like he’s only a few weeks away from being the man who will carry this company on his back going into 2026.

Moose vs. Mustafa Ali

  • The finish of the match saw Mustafa Ali’s dancers distract the referee while one of them got in the ring and hit Moose with a low blow, allowing Ali to hit Moose with a 450 Splash to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

The dancer who low blowed Moose is revealed to be Tasha Steelz, someone who was banned from ringside in the first place and shouldn’t be able to get involved in the finish of the match.

Grade: B+

This was the best thing on the show in-ring-wise, but the lame finish killed it from getting an A grade. You can’t say both factions are banned from ringside and then allow one of them to still interfere because they are wearing a dancer costume. These things need to have consequences, and storyline-wise, this better be acknowledged by Santino.

Joe Hendry vs. Eric Young

  • The finish of the match saw Joe Hendry hit Eric Young with the Standing Ovation to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Joe Hendry

Grade: B

With Hendry on his way out of the company, I was kind of surprised to see him pick up the victory. It made the live crowd happy, and honestly, that’s all that matters sometimes.

Tables Math: AJ Francis vs. Matt Hardy

  • The finish of the match saw Matt Hardy put AJ Francis through a table at ringside with a top rope leg drop to pick up the victory.

Winner: Matt Hardy

Grade: B-

This was a plunder match. Definitely not great, but it wasn’t terrible either. I would say the actual finish was just good enough to escape a C+ grade from me.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Lei Ying Lee vs. Kelani Jordan

  • The finish of the match saw Kelani Jordan hit Lei Ying Lee with One of a Kind to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: And NEW TNA Knockouts Champion, Kelani Jordan

Grade: B-

Not sure why TNA loves putting their titles on NXT talents so much. But alas, it happened again tonight. The match itself was okay.

TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs. Frankie Kazarian

  • The finish of the match saw a distraction from El Mesías that led to Frankie Kazarian hitting Steve Maclin with a springboard cutter to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: And NEW TNA International Champion, Frankie Kazarian

Grade: C

Didn’t enjoy this match at all, and the finish was just incredibly lame. There was no reason for Maclin to dive out on El Mesías and then Kaz kicking the ropes didn’t even look like it properly connected with Maclin low like it was supposed to. Just not good, man. I think the main event should be able to save this show, but we’ll see…

TNA X-Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) vs. Myron Reed

  • The finish of the match saw Leon Slater hit Myron Reed with a Swanton 450 to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: And still TNA X-Division Champion, Leon Slater

Grade: A-

After the match, Santino Marella comes out and announces that Je’Von Evans, a guy who just lost a title match on SmackDown, will challenge Slater for the X-Division Championship at Bound for Glory as TNA Victory Road goes off the air.

TNA Victory Road Review:

This was a mixed bag of a show for certain. There were a few good matches, but the booking ruined the finish of one of them. Luckily, the other good matches were able to stand on their own. The main event, in particular, was awesome and it helped drag this show out of an overall C grade.

However, there were some matches on tonight’s show that weren’t good at all, and that really brought the overall score of this show down. TNA really needs to bring their A game next month with Bound for Glory because general fan perception for this company at the moment isn’t good. But like I always say, one great show can change everything.

Grade: B-
