MLW Plans To Expand Women’s Division, Top Star Overseeing Talent Relations — Report

MLW is looking to expand its women’s division.

Despite being in the business for over two decades, Major League Wrestling has yet to fully establish a strong women’s division. However, a new report suggests the promotion is now working to strengthen the roster by adding more matches and talent.

According to Fightful (via Fightful Select), MLW plans to develop the women’s division further with its upcoming Charleston show. The report also notes that the promotion has given Salina de la Renta a much larger role since her return in 2023.

“Salina de la Renta has taken a much more increased role in the company. She has been working her way up over the last couple of years and is overseeing much of the talent relations in the company. In addition, she’s serving as a part of the creative team.

“Another point of expansion we’ve been told about is the company’s women’s division. MLW plans on adding more women’s matches and women’s talent to their cards beginning with the upcoming Charleston show,” according to the report.

The promotion’s next big event, MLW x Don Gato Tequila: Live Special, takes place on November 20 in Charleston, South Carolina. Fans can find more information on the show here.
