WWE‘s decision to have Je’Von Evans sign his RAW contract during a commercial break on Monday is a hot topic among fans this week.
During one of the Netflix commercial breaks during this week’s episode of WWE RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce came out on the stage with a contract and played a video hype package for the audience showcasing NXT star Je’Von Evans.
Pearce brought Evans out on the stage and officially made him the latest member of the RAW roster. Evans signed his contract, thus officially ending his time as an NXT Superstar. But the decision to have this take place during an ad break confused many in the company.
On the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, it was revealed that many in WWE were puzzled by this decision. Despite that, it was insisted that this shouldn’t be seen as an indication of how the company views Evans.
Sean Ross Sapp has heard rumors that some RAW segments on Monday potentially went long, which led to this happening. However, it’s not something he can confirm at this time.
