A former WWE Superstar doesn’t believe they’ve blown their chances with AEW and thinks they could find their way back to the company.
Former WWE Superstar Nixon Newell (FKA Tegan Nox) made some appearances last year for AEW and Ring of Honor before she and her tag team partner Miranda Alize left a Collision taping over a disagreement with their booking.
Despite this, Newell still believes the door is open for her to return to AEW in the future.
Nixon Newell was a recent guest on The Wrestling Classic. During the interview, Newell explained why she doesn’t believe the door is closed as it pertains to an AEW return.
“Um, I don’t think so because there was never any negative — when we left, it wasn’t like we stormed out,” Nixon Newell said. “It was an understanding on both sides, and both of, ‘Yeah, okay, cool. No worries, we get it’ and then we were like, ‘Okay, cool. Thank you for the opportunity.’ It was never anything negative until the dirt sheets made it negative.” [H/T: Fightful]
