Jesse Ventura says the fix is in.
Ventura appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and didn’t mince words about how he feels about President Donald Trump. The former Governor of Minnesota and WWE Hall of Famer went as far as implying that the assassination attempt on Trump was staged.
During one exchange, Morgan tried to speak in Trump’s defense, noting how he got shot during an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. Morgan said Trump got back up and said ‘Fight, fight, fight!’, but Ventura shared his skepticism about the event.
“Oh yeah, right,” Ventura said. “You ever hear of a ‘blade job?’ Anyway…”
“Do you think it was fake?” Morgan asked.
“I don’t know. Where’s his scar today?” Ventura replied.
Morgan said someone who was sitting behind Trump at the rally died, but Ventura was still skeptical about the whole thing.
Jesse Ventura says Donald Trump is no hero
“C’mon, Piers, you’re going to tell me that this guy’s a big hero now? That’s what you’re going to tell me? Really? Really? Yeah, well then he accomplished what he wanted out of you guys,” Ventura added.
Ventura sarcastically said that Trump could have helped the United States win the Vietnam War if he had actually enlisted.
When asked what he’d say to Trump if he had a chance to speak with him, Ventura said that he’d rather not.
“I’d prefer not to speak to him. I don’t really have — what would I say to him? To me, he has no courage, he never has. I’ll tell you what he is, Piers,” Ventura explained. “He’ll start the fight, and then he’ll hold your coat. Then the next day he’ll tell everybody how tough he was.”
In the past, Jesse Ventura called Donald Trump’s WWE Hall of Fame status a disgrace. He’s also said that the United States was getting what it deserved for electing Trump.
