WWE‘s CM Punk had a hilarious interaction with Steve Carell at a Netflix charity event.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was announced as a last-minute addition to Night of Too Many Stars on Thursday, May 7. Hosted by Jon Stewart, the event took place at the iconic Hollywood Bowl as part of the ongoing Netflix Is A Joke festival. The night was dedicated to benefit “NEXT for Autism, a national organization providing programs and support for people living with autism.”
CM Punk shared the stage with Jon Stewart and Steve Carell at the event in a WWE-themed comedy segment. He had some verbal back-and-forth with Carell, hilariously telling him to pay for his “Scott’s Tots” crimes, referring to a storyline from The Office.
Things then turned into a WWE 2K26 showdown between the two, with CM Punk playing as himself and Steve Carell playing as a create-a-superstar version of himself. In the game, Carell tried to escape to the back when Punk’s character introduced weapons.
The action then spilled into real life as Steve Carell tried to run backstage at the event. However, CM Punk ran after and caught him, but it was actually a ragdoll version of Carell. Punk then hilariously dragged the doll by its feet, gave it a good spin, and beat it up around the stage. The segment ended with the two laughing and shaking hands on the stage.
CM Punk is currently rumored to be Danhausen’s partner at WWE Backlash tomorrow, and The Miz recently reacted to the speculation.
