WWE legend Kevin Nash praises CM Punk’s recent physical transformation.
Speaking on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash commented on CM Punk looking shredded in recent social media pictures. He spoke about wrestlers undereating on the road because training and finding proper nutrition while traveling is incredibly difficult.
Kevin Nash also praised CM Punk for using his time off to fix his diet, work with a trainer, and improve his physique away from the grueling schedule.
“He’s not the first one to take downtime. There are pictures of Punk online, in the gym and stuff, and people taking pictures of Punk online. He looks good. He got with that trainer for WrestleMania, and he’s dialed in his training and definitely dialed in his diet,” Kevin Nash said.
“What everybody finds out is that we so undereat. I guarantee you Phil was undereating, probably by 1,000 calories. I’ve been home and been able to eat and even though I’ve only put on four pounds, being able to eat and being able to train is huge. He’s making bank, so he can take some time off,” Kevin Nash said. Kevin Nash had previously mocked CM Punk over his physique
While he may have high praises for CM Punk’s new physique, Kevin Nash had previously mocked him for wrestling in a t-shirt.
“I watched Punk in the main event of that match last Monday (December 24, 2025). Number one, if you’re the heavyweight champion of the WWE and you wrestle in a t-shirt, ouch! Number two, his punches look really slow. He looks slow. I think he’s done, Kevin Nash said.
He then recalled the infamous “Lol, thought he was dead” promo segment he had with CM Punk back in 2011. Kevin Nash noted that he was 50 at the time, and said Punk, who’s 47 now, has already fallen victim to the NDT shirt. It means “No Definition T-shirt,” and it’s his term for describing someone hiding their lack of muscle behind loose-fitting shirts.
