Finn Balor Is Sad He Could Never Do Specific Match Against Bray Wyatt

The first-ever WWE Universal Champion, Finn Balor has had the opportunity to share the ring with multiple veterans in the business. He has also had multiple matches with the late Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda). The Judgment Day member recently revealed that he is sad that he never got to do one particular match with the Eater of Worlds.

The wrestling world was heartbroken upon hearing the tragic news of Bray Wyatt’s demise. He suffered a heart attack and passed away on August 24 at 36 years old. Wyatt had contracted COVID-19 and it resulted in him developing some heart issues, which kept him off of TV.

The Prince and Wyatt have wrestled each other on multiple occasions. The two had battled each other on several Premium Live Events. One of the notable matches between the two is the one where Balor wrestled The Fiend at SummerSlam 2019.

In a recent interview with Cheap Heat, Balor spoke about his relationship with Wyatt and also mentioned the matches the two had during his tenure in WWE.

“Obviously I had the opportunity to work with him a lot. As Finn vs. Bray, as The Demon vs. Bray, as Finn vs. The Fiend. The one thing I’m sad that we didn’t ever get to get to was the Fiend vs. Demon match. That was something that we talked about at length and we were kind of hoping that was going to happen eventually, but it’s not to be,” Finn Balor said. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

The Judgment Day member also shared that he was sad that his Demon persona was never able to wrestle Wyatt’s The Fiend persona.
