James Storm vs. Chris Harris (King of the Mountain Qualifying Match)

American’s Most Wanted was arguably the best tag team in 2007 TNA. Their implosion came as a huge shock to fans. While the first singles meeting between James Storm and Chris Harris at Lockdown 2007 was a disaster, the two follow-up matches made up for the errors TNA made with their booking of the blindfold match.

After putting arguably one of the best Texas Death Matches in TNA history, Storm and Harris met in another match at the May 28 iMPACT taping. This King of the Mountain Qualifying Match saw both men beat each other to a double count-out result.

Kurt Angle became a five-belt champion at TNA Hard Justice 2007. The Olympic Gold Medalist defeated Samoa Joe to claim the promotion’s existing men’s titles at the time. However, Angle couldn’t continue as a solo tag team champion.

To determine his co-holder, the TNA management announced a fatal four-way between AJ Styles, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, and Sting for the August 30 episode of IMPACT. This was a fast-paced contest with plenty of action.

All four men were exceptional main event talents, and they got a decent amount of time to tell their story. The Icon Sting would force AJ Styles to submit with his patented Scorpion Death Lock submission maneuver.
