More Talent Test COVID-19 Positive After GCW The Collective Event

More upsetting news coming out of GCW The Collective event this past weekend as it’s revealed two more wrestling talents have tested positive for COVID-19.

A.C. Mack and Cabana Man Dan announced that they have both received positive results and now face 14 days of quarantine.

“Sooo…yes, get tested guys. Before & after every show. Got tested yesterday & unfortunately, the results came back positive,” said Mack via Twitter. “No shows, no training, no hanging out, no ANYTHING for a while. Champ down. PLEASE. GET. TESTED. …Any Netflix suggestions?”

Cabana Man Dan also Tweeted the following regarding his results:

“Ok guys. Please get tested any time after an event and before another one. Enclosed is my 6th negative Covid test I’ve taken last week. To ensure the safety of others going into this weekend’s events and training, I got tested again today. Unfortunately it came back positive.”

Mack wrestled at both the Southern Underground Pro and at Effy’s Big Gay Brunch during The Collective weekend. At Effy’s event, he teamed up with Ashton Starr against Team Sea Stars. At SUP, he faced the 1 Called Manders in singles action.

Cabana Man Dan was a part of The Clusterf*ck Battle Royal at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 4 which being a battle royal, featured a hefty bill of talent.

This news comes after independent talent Dan The Dad tested positive for COVID-19. Dan The Dad was also involved with The Collective weekend and when word got round of a positive test, St. Louis Anarchy cancelled it’s planned event this Friday. A.C. Mack was also scheduled to compete on this card.

We at WrestleZone wish Mack, Cabana Man Dan & Dan The Dad a healthy and speedy recovery. We’ll be sure to update you all on any further developments.
