Update On James Storm’s IMPACT Wrestling Status

They say that you can’t keep a good cowboy tied down, and that seems to be the case with James Storm’s wrestling career as of late. The former IMPACT Wrestling staple has made appearances all over the map as of late, including a lengthy run in NWA during the Powerrr era. Storm returned to IMPACT recently, but he’s made it clear earlier this week on Twitter that it’s not a long term stay this time around.

The “1 more” Storm refers to comes this Saturday at IMPACT’s Turning Point, where the Cowboy will team with fellow TNA veteran Chris Sabin to take on XXXL. Beyond that, it’s unclear where The Cowboy will end up, but he recently told WrestleZone that he’s looking to start his next real run at the start of 2021.

“I’ve been talking to some companies and hopefully soon I’ll be talking to some more, and make a decision for the beginning of next year.”

IMPACT Wrestling featured their outlandish ‘Who Shot Bravo?’ storyline, the Rascalz teasing a send-off, and many wrestlers fighting for momentum into this Saturday’s Turning Point on the IMPACT+ streaming service. How will the Good Brothers balance presenting Talk’n Shop-a-Mania 2 on Fite and challenging the North for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships this Saturday at Turning Point? WrestleZone’s Bill Pritchard, Kevin Kellam, and Robert DeFelice talk about all of this and the potential collaboration between IMPACT and AEW.
