One of the criticisms often thrown at the WWE Hall of Fame is that there is no physical building to represent the institute that WWE inducts seven names into every WrestleMania season but according to Ric Flair, this will be changing.
During an appearance on ESPN’s The Jump, Ric Flair revealed that WWE is working on a physical Hall of Fame building in Orlando, Florida.
“WWE is actually in the process of building a Hall of Fame, a physical structure in Orlando. It’s been delayed due to COVID. They purchased the robe and wanted to put that in there. It would be something that I wore [that they would display] in the Hall.
Since forging a partnership with Full Sail University, WWE has turned Orlando, Florida into a home base for them. The WWE Performance Center which is also in Orlando, Florida, has not only helped train the bulk of the modern roster but has also provided a house to a majority of 2020’s events due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
At this time, there’s no clear-cut date as to when a project like this will be finished. WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
