Mick Foley Begs Vince McMahon To Give Cesaro A Chance, Steve Austin Says There’s No Telling What He Could Do

Mick Foley is a true legend in the professional wrestling world, and in a preview of his appearance on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s “Broken Skull Sessions”, he gave his opinion on a handful of the brightest stars in WWE.

In a game of word association, Foley was offered up different superstars and told to react with how he felt about them. When it came to superstars like Sami Zayn, Foley had nothing but nice things to say about him.

“I like me some Sami Zayn,” said Foley. He stated that no matter what the former WWE Intercontinental Champion has on his plate, he makes it work. As for WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Foley called her a “five-tool player,” saying that he got goosebumps when she won the title at WWE WrestleMania 37.

Foley had a much stronger message for Cesaro, as he looked into the camera and begged Vince McMahon to give Cesaro a chance to prove himself, even getting down on his knees to deliver his impassioned speech.

“Can I speak to the camera?” Foley inquired.

“Vince, please. You [Austin] started in ’88? ’89? Sixty years of experience, we know a little something. We both proved Vince wrong, right? He had us set for this level,” Foley said, “and I’d say we exceeded that level. Trust us and give him the chance. Let him prove— I’ll get down on my knees and I’ll beg. Vince please, all we are saying is give Cesaro a chance. I just believe in that wholeheartedly,” Foley stated. “Give him a chance.”

Austin agreed, adding that Cesaro’s potential is unlimited. “Give him a chance, give him a gimmick,” Austin stated. “Just put a rocket ship on his back. No telling what the kid could do.”

WWE Hall of Famer and ‘Hardcore Legend’ Mick Foley will be ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s guest on the next episode of The Broken Skull Sessions. The episode streams on Sunday, June 20, exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else, on the same day as this month’s Hell in a Cell PPV.
