During tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Luchasaurus shocked the world of All Elite Wrestling by turning heel and siging with Christian Cage.
Taking to the microphone tonight, Cage said that he felt sorry for Jungle Boy’s family as they had to watch Cage destroy him two weeks ago. He then took some shots at Jungle Boy’s mother before saying that while he requested a match for tonight, it wasn’t for him. He then introduced the new Luchasaurus, who came out to a new theme song and in new, all black gear. Cage seemingly recruited Jungle Boy’s partner the week after his own betrayal, but the powerhouse’s appearance on Wednesday confirmed their alliance.
Luchasaurus went on to dominate his match against Serpentico; he overwhelmed his opponent and locked him in a Snare Trap for the win. Following the victory, and as instructed by Cage, Luchasaurus began to attack Serpentico, delivering a brutal assault to the masked star before he planted him with a chokeslam on the floor.
