Report: Kevin Owens Suffered Injury At 11/13 WWE Live Event

Kevin Owens is reportedly banged up.

At the WWE Sunday Stunner event on November 13, Owens faced Austin Theory in a singles bout. Though the former WWE Universal Champion won the contest, he was helped to the back after the bell. Fan reports from the venue suggested that Owens suffered an injury, but specific details were unclear.

According to The Wrestling Observer, Owens is dealing with an MCL sprain, though there’s some concern the injury could be worse. The injury came when he planted his knee, and his concerned reaction was apparent.

Owens hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since the September 30 episode of WWE SmackDown; there, he teamed up with Drew McIntyre and Johnny Gargano to defeat Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable) and Theory. Though he didn’t make the trip overseas for WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 5, he has been wrestling at live events in recent weeks.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
