Details On Contract Lengths For Recently Returned WWE Superstars

WWE has been bringing back a variety of talent ever since Triple H took over as the head of creative, and a new report shines some light on the contracts these stars agreed to.

Over the past few months, names like Bray Wyatt, Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, Johnny Gargano, and Dexter Lumis have all returned to the company after they previously left. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, “several” of the talent brought back to the WWE SmackDown brand have been signed on for three-year contracts, with their deals set to expire sometime in the Summer of 2025.

Sapp additionally cites sources who indicated that the members of Hit Row have matching deals similar to the other talent, and they’re set to expire around that time. The report also mentions that, in the newer deals, many talents were able to negotiate the ability to do outside projects and use platforms that they likely wouldn’t have been able to under the previous regime. Sapp notes that while these issues were relaxed as far back as WrestleMania week, they are even more so relaxed now.

This likely includes things like Twitch or YouTube channels, which WWE had previously been cracking down on, whereas the restrictions have loosed up in the Triple H era.
