Rousey Rousey is apparently dealing with an injury.
“The Baddest Woman on the Planet” was scheduled to team up with Shayna Baszler to face Tegan Nox and Natalya on the March 3 episode of WWE SmackDown. Instead, before the bout, the broadcast team revealed that the duos got involved in a brawl backstage earlier in the day. The show played a clip of the brawl, and Rousey seemingly hurt her arm during the fight.
As a result, Baszler faced Nox in a singles match instead, and the former NXT Women’s Champion scored the decisive submission victory. Rousey accompanied Baszler to the ring, and her arm was in a sling.
As of this writing, the extent of Rousey’s injury is unclear. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
