The Watch List takes a look at what matches you should be watching and they come recommended by today’s professional wrestling stars.
WrestleZone recently spoke with Taya Valkyrie, who reflected on her run with Jessicka Havok and Rosemary as The Death Dollz in IMPACT Wrestling.
“I’m extremely proud of the work done by The Death Dollz over the course of the last several months. Our chemistry is undeniable. I’ve never had so much fun in tag time like I have with these women. Each of us has our own personal identity and we each have our own story,” she explained, “and we each just come together to make this perfect triangle. We’ve proven that over and over again.
“I loved when we wrestled against VXT, I loved The Hex, I loved all that stuff. All these women have come out with their claws out, and I’ve really had the best time really digging into my role as a tag team,” she added. “That was the highlight for sure.”
Taya went on to compare the situation to a “choose your own adventure” type of story and said it’s fun figuring out how to use that space.
“Anytime Rosemary’s involved, there’s gonna be magic. There’s gonna be something spooky and fun and you get to just believe what you want and create this universe, this multiverse, this space. And so it’s been really fun getting to do that,” Valkyrie said. “Bringing magic and factors like that into the world of wrestling, it’s very fun. We get to create a ‘pick your own adventure’ story and changed the rules as you go.”
