Ian Riccaboni Confirms Signing With AEW, Calls The Arrangement A Dream Come True

Ian Riccaboni confirms that he has signed with All Elite Wrestling.

On July 15, Riccaboni, who calls the action every week on ROH TV, filled in for Kevin Kelly on AEW Collision. Fightful Select then reported that Riccaboni had signed a multi-year deal with AEW.

In a series of tweets, Riccaboni confirmed the news and shared his excitement. He called AEW’s team first class and stated that hosting wrestling on cable has been a dream of his. Riccaboni also stated that he is “thrilled” about being able to make that dream come true while still being able to spend time with his family.

The veteran ROH broadcaster made it clear that he appreciated the way the team had honored his contract, which had a rollover clause from Sinclair, as the new era of ROH began. He called the arrangement a dream come true, as working ROH and select AEW dates will allow him to continue to coach soccer, basketball, and T-ball, and he will also continue to pursue his MBA.

Riccaboni concluded his message by thanking everyone for their support and making it clear that he’s excited to be part of AEW and ROH for years to come.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
