Adam Cole On MJF: It’s Wild To Think He’s Not Even In His Prime Yet

Adam Cole has high praise for his All In opponent and partner MJF.

All Elite Wrestling‘s Adam Cole was a recent guest on Under The Ring. When asked about his tag team partner and opponent at All In, MJF, Cole praised Friedman’s talent and believes he’s not even in his prime yet.

“So as far as the talent that MJF has,” Adam Cole began. “I mean, I knew when I first met him, God, it had to be maybe eight years ago, maybe six years ago, when he was just starting out like brand new in the wrestling industry. And I remember thinking, oh, this guy has it from the very beginning. And I know a lot of people say that, but I really did feel that way.

“He could talk incredibly well [and] he was great in the ring. He carried himself really well [and] was a sponge wanting to learn as much as he possibly could. I knew he was going to be special, but I think he’s exceeded everyone, including himself. Expectations as far as how great he’s really become. I mean, he’s so young, like in his mid-20s.

Adam Cole hopes that fans will be invested in his story with MJF at AEW All In

“He has his entire career ahead of him, and he’s proven time and time again how amazing he is in the ring. How amazing he is on the microphone, the guy who eats, sleeps, and breathes pro wrestling. So what’s wild to think is he’s not even really in his prime yet, and he’s as good as he is. As far as the crowd response. Again, you never know, obviously; you hope that the crowd is completely invested.

“And interested in every single thing that we’re doing. Whether that be for MJF, whether that be for me, or the matches as a whole. I’m hoping, based on the story that’s been told these past few months now, that Wembley Stadium will be completely invested in this one, and I’m going to make sure we give them a reason to be.

“But it’s gonna be a special night, and I hope that crowd is ready to have a great time because, again, the UK wrestling fans are some of the best in the entire world as far as crowd response and crowd interaction. They know it’s going to be a super special night. So I’m hoping they’re going to be on their feet literally for the entire event.”
