Damian Priest And Finn Balor Call WWE Tag Title Win Validation

Finn Balor and Damian Priest say there’s no doubt that The Judgment Day runs WWE.

At WWE Payback, Priest and Balor dethroned Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. In doing so, they brought even more gold to The Judgment Day.

On the September 6 episode of WWE’s The Bump, Priest and Balor discussed their title win.

“I don’t think there’s any question anymore as to who really runs the WWE,” Balor said. “We’ve been saying that for a long time.

Priest then called the victory validation.

“This was just validation,” Priest said. “It was always true. Now, we have, ‘Look, you can’t even argue now.’ That’s what this is.”

Damian Priest: The Judgment Day Is All About Making History

Damian Priest continued by describing how the victory represented what the Judgment Day was meant for. He stated that the group members are supposed to push each other to reach new heights.

“This is what the Judgment Day was meant for, Damian Priest said. “It’s to push to each other to accomplish things that we know we can accomplish. But we just needed that extra push, and we needed somebody to have our back in that thought process, and that’s what we do for each other.

“So making history, that’s what we’re all about, and being better tomorrow than we were today. That’s clearly what we do. To me, it feels great. But tomorrow, we’re gonna achieve more.”
