There was a deep-rooted meaning for Shotzi to have her hair shaved off on WWE programming.
SmackDown Superstar Shotzi recently sat down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. When asked about the storyline where Damage CTRL cut her hair, Shotzi revealed that occurred because her sister was going through chemotherapy at the time and she asked Triple H if she could implement this into her story.
“My baby sister was going through chemotherapy,” Shotzi said. “She shaved her hair off as soon as it started thinning out. I asked Hunter if could make this work in a story instead of me just showing up one day with no hair. And yeah, he made it work for me. My sister is my best friend, so I had to be there for her. She’s good now, and we’re growing our hair back together.”
Shotzi recently appeared alongside Scarlett for the last two weeks on WWE NXT as the hosts of Halloween Havoc.
