To date, one of the most shocking returns to WWE was former AEW World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. People did not think this was a possibility after what transpired in the Jacksonville-based promotion. One person who does not seem to be happy about CM Punk’s return is Seth Rollins.
Once the Second City Saint showed up at the WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event, The Visionary was furious. A fan recorded a video that showed how Seth Rollins reacted upon seeing Punk.
Following that, Punk had also seemingly responded to Rollins’ comments claiming that he is back only to make money.
This past weekend, WWE continued its Holiday Live Tour. This Sunday they were at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania. After the show came to an end, Rollins addressed the crowd. While doing so he took a shot at CM Punk calling him a bum and also claimed to be the real Best in the World.
“State College Pennsylvania… [Fans start chanting CM Punk]. Oh, I got bad news for you guys chanting his name. I really don’t feel like talking about that bum tonight. Instead, I like to take a second to express my gratitude to each and every one of you guys for coming out here and spending this Sunday night, from all of us in the back, everyone in WWE, I just want to say, Thank You. Happy Holidays. We’ll see you guys next time. We love you. Now do me one favor. Do me one favor. You have been singing my song so beautifully all night long, let them know in State College who the real Best in the World is. One… Two… Three…,” Seth Rollins said.
